The film was shot back in 2013, with the aim of showing the world Hungary from a different perspective to that of the \u201dland of paprika, goulash, horses and cs\u00e1rdas\u2019. In other words: to prove that there is much more to this small country than people have previously realised!<\/strong>\n<h4>Hungary is the best on the continent!<\/h4>\nWhen making the film, the production team sought out filming locations that would fittingly and faithfully symbolise our country, as well as Hungarian culture, creativity and progress. This is how Heroes\u2019 Square, the H\u00e9v\u00edz Thermal Baths, the Sz\u00e9chenyi Baths, the Chain Bridge and, of course, the \u2018Hungarian Sea\u2019, Lake Balaton, found their way into the film.\u00a0 \u2013 And so the historic New York Caf\u00e9 also appeared at the start of the short film, a venue steeped in history and associated with romance, creativity and artistic culture.\n\nThe competition for the best tourism films and adverts was announced to mark the 21st General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), and the winner was announced on Saturday 19 September.\n\nOut of the 51 participating member states, winners were selected by region, and Hungary won the award for the best film on the European continent.\n\nHowever, this is not the first award the video has won; back in 2014 \u2013 when the New York Caf\u00e9 was celebrating its 120th anniversary \u2013 it had already won two other awards. The first, the so-called Silver Dolphin Award, was presented at the Cannes Corporates Media &amp; TV Awards ceremony, whilst the second was won in Shanghai in the Best Tourism Image Film category.\n\nThe one-and-a-half-minute video focuses on the capital and the \u2018Hungarian Sea\u2019, emphasising development, culture and health tourism.\n\nThe New York Caf\u00e9, with its history and traditions stretching back more than 120 years, has now become a symbol of Hungary. It is a hub of Hungarian literature, culture and the arts, where creativity, romance and freedom of thought take centre stage. It is therefore no coincidence that the directors of our country\u2019s award-winning film chose \u2018The World\u2019s Most Beautiful Caf\u00e9\u2019 as their starting point!\n\nThe New York Caf\u00e9 proudly continues to uphold its historic reputation to this day, and, as the World\u2019s Most Beautiful Caf\u00e9, it welcomes not only local guests but also a multitude of foreign visitors day after day with its elegance and quality, renowned far and wide.\n\nWe are proud to have contributed to this success, and we shall continue to promote our country\u2019s reputation with respect and admiration within the walls of the New York Caf\u00e9!\n\n<strong>We offer our heartfelt congratulations to the winning film!
